How you should dress for class: Please wear clothing that is form fitting and covers at least the back of the knee and the armpit. (This is to protect from chaffing caused by the hammock material rubbing on the skin.)

Please do NOT wear jewelry: This can damage the hammock fabric. If you wish to leave on a ring, please wrap it in sport tape to protect the hammock. Plain wedding bands with no stone may be left on with no cover.

Late Policy: Because of our recent relocation we have been following a relaxed late admittance policy. Students are strongly encouraged to call for directions and find our location well in advance of their first class to minimize class disruptions. Check out our directions page for detailed instructions on finding Studio X at our new home!

Reservations policy: At this time Studio X accepts reservations with prepayment for Girl Friday Parties, private lessons, workshops and private parties. We do not accept reservations for regularly scheduled classes as drop in seems to allow for the most flexibility with students schedules. In order to continue to provide personalized instruction, most classes will be capped at 16 students. Please try to arrive about 15 minutes before class starts for the best chance at availability. If classes become consistently full, every effort will be made to add more classes to the schedule to accomodate you!

No one under the age of 18 is allowed in the studio.

Studio X is pleased to announce our relocation to a brand new studio space located in the Interchange corporate Center at 3850 Gaskins Road, Suite 400, Richmond, Va 23233 starting January 2, 2012! This new location convenient to I-64, features two spacious dance areas, more poles and tons of convenient PARKING!!!

Thank you for purchasing your 3 dance lesson deal! This a great way to try us out at very reasonable rate. We hope you will love exotic dance as much as we do and continue to dance with us for years to come. Some important information about your daily deal:

Your deal is good for the following lessons: Basic X, Polefit, Exotic Arts, Hoop, Continuing and Pole Pro classes (when eligible) and Silk Fit.
With the exception of SILK FIT, all classes are drop in, first come first dance. So please arrive 10 minutes prior to your classes.
You may mix and match classes. For example, Exotic Arts one day, Polefit the next etc.
Once you have redeemed your voucher, you have up to one year to use your lessons.
Silk Fit is a 4 week session class so if you would like to use your deal for Silk Fit you must use your deal to cover all 4 classes and preregister for the desired session. If you only purchased one 3 class deal and would like to use them for Silk Fit, you may pay for the 1 remaining class of the 4 week session for $20. Because there is limited space in the sessions, no make-ups or refunds are given for unattended classes. See website for more details. You may also see Silk Fit referred to as Aerial Hammock. It is the same class. We are transitioning to the new name, Silk Fit. Please call if you have questions!
Your deal is NOT valid for Private Parties, Private Lessons, Memberships or Girl Friday Parties.
Once you redeem your voucher, you will be given a keytag with a barcode to scan when you come back for remaining lessons. You may take any combination of lessons (with exception on Silk Fit) at your leisure and have one year from the time you pick up your keytag to use your lesson.
If you are traveling to the studio for the first time, please see the website or call us for exact directions. We can be a little tricky to find at first. If we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we are able.
