Class Policies
Classes open to women ages 18 and up.
Photo ID required.
Please turn off cell phones and pagers during class times.
Acceptable attire - workout wear, short shorts, halters, discreet lingerie.
Nudity NOT ALLOWED in any classes.
Thongs allowed in Basic X only!
Soled footwear is required. Type is left to participant discretion.
Persons over 175 lbs. are not allowed to suspend from pole.
While we encourage women of all shapes and sizes to learn exotic dance, classes should be considered aerobic exercise.

Not all moves may be comfortable for everyone. If you are unsure whether a class is right for you PLEASE consider whether it would be best to take an introductory class.

Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace and modify moves to their comfort level. Modifications will be taught in class.

If you are taking prescription medicine, allergy or cold medicine that may make you drowsy or impair your physical coordination, we strongly urge you to consider whether you are physically capable to engage in aerobic exercise.

Persons attending class intoxicated WILL NOT be allowed to participate and WILL NOT receive a refund for classes missed!

Privacy Policy
When you sign up for the Studio X Hot Flash, Studio X does collect and store your e-mail address. However, Studio X respects the privacy of all of our students current or otherwise, and does not use the e-mail address for any purpose other than the intended purpose of providing subscribers with news and information from the Studio X Hot Flash.
Registration/Cancellation
Class sizes are limited and advance registration of at least 48 hours is required. It is recommended that you register EARLY to secure your space in class.

Advanced registration can be done by paying online or by calling Kate at 804-338-5252 to register for classes and make payment arrangements.

For your convenience Studio X now accepts online payments via PayPal. As always you can pay with your Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover Card or, when paying online, your PayPal account.

Of course, Studio X also accepts cash.NO CHECKS ACCEPTED. If paying the day of class, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the payment process.

If you are unable to attend a class, please call 804-338-5252 to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled class time. We request this as a courtesy, so that we may offer the space to another student.

All fees are non-refundable but can be applied to alternate classes at the discretion of the director.

Studio X reserves all rights to expel any participant from any class for any reason; no refunds.

Students have been asking about a referral program to get their friends into classes at Studio X and a way they can benefit from passing around our name. August begins the referral program at Studio X. The way the referral program works is that current students hand out our business cards and write their names on the back of the business cards.

When a new student who buys a 5-lesson punch card brings in the card with a current student's name on the back, that will count as one referral. A white board has been put up in the studio and each time a new student who has been referred brings in a business card with a current student's name signed on the back, the current student's name will go up on the white board and listed under it will be the names of referrals. Once a current student has five referrals, she gets an 5-lesson punch card for free (or that same dollar value for a pro punch card).

So, take business cards with you and spread the word!

Guests, Holidays, Liability and Attendance

Guests
Classes are open only to paying participants. We respect the privacy of our students. Friends, family, etc. are not allowed to watch classes.

Holidays and Inclement weather
Studio X will be closed on major holidays. Please refer to our online schedule or call for specific dates. In case of inclement weather, we will post closing and rescheduling information on our Web site. Classes canceled due to weather will be made up as soon as possible. Make up dates will be posted on the Web site and are also available by phoning 804-338-5252.

Liability waiver
Students will be required to sign a liability waiver before participating in any class.

Tardiness/Decorum
Please be courteous of your fellow students and arrive on time for classes. Classes will begin promptly at scheduled starting times.
